Twilight Code Club Training

Date: 10, 17, 24 September & 1 October @ 4PM - 5PM (BST)

Join our series of free training workshops for teachers to enhance your coding skills and confidence, and to start a Code Club at your school.

From Curious to Club Leader

Date: 16 September 2026

Transform your curiosity into a community. Have you ever thought about starting a coding club but felt held back by "tech-timidity"? Whether you’re a teacher, librarian, or parent, this workshop is designed to take you from the "What is it?" phase to a confident Club Leader.

In this session, we will cover:

  • What is Code Club
  • Why join Code Club
  • What happens at Code Club

No prior coding experience is required—just an interest in helping kids create with technology.

Making Code Club work for everyone

Date: 17 September 2026

Learn how to build a truly inclusive and welcoming environment at your Code Club. In this workshop, new and experienced club leaders will explore practical ways to ensure every young creator, including neurodivergent young people, feels supported and valued.

Offline Coding Solutions

Date: 23 September 2026

Keep your Code Club coding, even without the internet. In this practical workshop, you'll discover offline platforms for using Scratch, Python, and HTML & CSS. Learn how to set up your tools and support your young creators on devices with no web access. No prior experience required, all beginners welcome.

Build better games

Date: 24 September 2026

Join us to discover what makes a great game and how you can help young people design games they'll love to play. Hear from the designers behind the NEW Code Club Arcade Scratch games and leave with practical ideas to take back to your Code Club.

Coffee and Conversation

Date: 29 September 2026 @ 5PM (British Summer Time)

This space allows you to chat and connect with fellow community members. You don't need to be a coffee drinker. Whether you're an experienced club leader or just starting, the community is ready to answer your questions about Code Club.

Meet, Learn, Make 2026

Join fellow Code Club and CoderDojo volunteers at Meet, Learn, Make 2026 for a weekend of learning, sharing ideas, and connecting with community members from across Ireland.

The event will take place on the evening of Friday 2nd October and Saturday 3rd October at the Sheraton Hotel in Althone, Co, Westmeath.

There will be informal networking on Friday followed by a full day of workshops and sharing on Saturday.

Online Code Club Projects feedback session

Date: 2 June 2026 @ 11:00am or 5:00pm BST

Join us to receive and feedback on our latest resources, and share ideas for new Code Club projects.
Your insights will guide how we create and improve the resources clubs use around the world.
