We are delighted to support Code Club in trialing a change in approach for some new exciting projects, and have someone coming from Code Club to join us to explain and run a session on making a platform game in Scratch.

The new approach is rather than provide step by step instructions, which a lot of projects do, but rather follow some principles and then make your own platform game. Limited only by your imagination, curiosity and cunning we hope everyone will create at least one level in their own unique game that we can play.

We are limiting numbers to 12, so please book early. Plenty of support will be available for those that need it, and for those that don't we can always offer advice!!

Agenda

12:55 - Registration at Reception and sign in
13:00 - Health and Safety Stuff, Intros, Allergy Reminder
13:05 - Over to Marc to set the scene
13:55 - Short refreshment break, time away from screens, finger wiggling and leg stretching
14:30 - Final review / testing
14:45 - Parents / guardians join for show/play and tell! (I will need names of all that intend to come to the show and tell - email watersidecodeclub@Coderdojo.com)
14:55 - Wrap up, Prize Giving
15:00 - Back to Reception for signing out
