ASDConnect @ YMCA Port Talbot

At YMCA Port Talbot we run a group for Autistic Teenagers called ASDConnect, our Dojo will be a part of that group. 
Group members all have a diagnosis or a sibling with a diagnosis, some are awaiting diagnosis too, We have members between 10-25 years old and volunteers who are much older and of course we have all the parents along to support each other over tea and coffee :) 
Encouraging autistic young people to learn coding, enjoy meeting up and making friends, learning important social skills and of course learning to mentor other young autistic people who are joining the group 

Please bring:

• £1 for teas and coffees (for parents) and maybe some pocket money if your like snacks 
• A parent! (Very important). If you are 12 or under, your parent must stay with you during the session.
• And a positive attitude to autism, your diagnosis and/or your family members diagnosis (We are all about celebrating our Nuerodiversity)
