The Prince Philip Maritime Collection Centre CoderDojo is a free coding club for young people (7-17) interested in programming. The Prince Philip Maritime Collections Centre, (PPMCC), located in Kidbrooke South East London, is home to the Royal Museums Greenwich stored collections and state of the art conservation studios. This new facility is not just a store but also a community hub with a state learning space.
The Monthly club will consist of 90 minutes of programming; in which you can take part in an array of specially designed coding activities or work with friends to create your own exciting project. In the final half an hour of the session, you will be able to share and present your projects with your peers.
Our knowledgeable and friendly mentors will support you whilst you try out different tasks and projects. Create projects in Scratch, Python, HTML and more; No matter if you are a programming genius or a total beginner, everyone is welcome in this club.
We return November 2021 following our hiatus caused by the pandemic. We look forward to welcoming old and new ninjas and their parents. Please support us by ensuring your safety and wellbeing by using the anti bacterial gel provided and socially distancing where appropriate.
Sessions will be held in the learning space at The Prince Philip Maritime Collections Centre
