Free Computer activity (CODERDOJO*) for children and families interested in coding. The activity is run by an experienced schools tutor for the benefit of local children during August. Ages 7 to 12.
We shall be exploring small computers (+ raspberry pi mini computers) and using software called SCRATCH or Python for simple computer programming of FUN interactive computer games. We shall also be looking at small ROBOTS, + computer GAMES that we can learn to program. If you do not have a raspberry pi you can use any laptop**.
(We highly recommend a Mouse if you do not have one and a password (to install software or log into Balham Library wi-fi). We shall provide an extension power socket at venue (to charge flat batteries). Bring what you need.
