View on Google MapsShe's Got Games holiday Code Club for Girls is run by qualified teachers, trainers and Women in Tech.
It is a 2 Day school holiday programme for young Girls (Year 6 +) who are at the early stages of their coding journey and intended for those who are referred by their school or agency.
www.shesgotgames.com is part of a collaborative enrichment programme between the Charity OLDP CIO and Octavius Learning and Development Partnership encouraging Girls to choose SMT and Built environment subject's and career's .
Schools and agencies may request taster sessions and bespoke programmes
The day starts at 12noon until 4pm and consists of :
- Lunch
- Q&A session with Women in Tech
- Introduction to The Code Club
- Exploring computer systems and the Raspberry PI
- Break and refreshments
- A coding project using offline and online software, which may
be featured on www.shesgotgames.com
- Well-being session to support physical and mental well-being
- A Certificate of attendance will be issued on completion of the 2 days.
