We have one aim: create an environment that excites and engages all our participants in technology.
Every aspect of what we deliver must be fun and encourage creativity above all other goals. This focus has taken us on a crazy and amazing adventure where kids define their tech journey by bringing ideas to life using software, hardware and huge amounts of creativity.
PLEASE BRING:
- A packed lunch.
- A laptop. Borrow one from someone if needs be.
- A parent! (Very important). If you are 17 or under, your parent must stay with you during the session.
Our Sessions:
Scratch (beginner friendly)
Learn how to make cool games in Scratch. A fun environment, suitable for beginners.
Already know lots about Scratch? We have advanced challenges for you too: try using your Scratch skills to make something cool with a micro:bit!
Websites (beginner/intermediate)
Learn how to make the next big website. A fun environment suitable for beginners looking to start their coding experience and to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Location:
We are based in the Stokes Building DCU - this is the School of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering // School of Electronic Engineering located at the small roundabout in front of the main entrance to DCU on Collins Avenue.
