Tramore Code Club (formerly CoderDojo, Tramore) is a volunteer-led, community group that helps to introduce children aged 7-17 to technology and computer programming. The club is part of the global Code Club which is supported by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. It has been operating in Tramore, on the South coast of Ireland, since 2014.
During this time, it has helped hundreds of children to discover and explore technology and coding in a safe, friendly and relaxed collaborative environment, springboarding countless career paths for our community’s next generation of innovators.
Tramore Code Club runs for around 2 hours most Saturday afternoons during school terms, where attendance is offered free of change. The club also provides all the equipment needed to participate fully in the club’s activities. Zero barriers to entry is a vital part of the club's ethos.
