Description

UCN Youth Tech Club is a free, community-based club powered by University College of the North. At the club children will explore computer science through hands-on projects, creativity, and problem-solving.

Each session focuses on beginner-friendly activities such as creating games, animations, and interactive stories using tools like Scratch and other age-appropriate platforms. No prior coding experience is required.

The club is designed to be:
-Supportive and inclusive
-Self-paced, with guidance when needed
-Focused on learning through making and experimentation

Computers will be provided on-site by the venue.

Children aged 12 or under must attend with a parent or guardian. Depending on the session and venue requirements, parents may be asked to remain on site.

All learning resources are provided, and activities are adapted to different ages and skill levels. The goal is to help young learners build confidence with technology in a relaxed, community learning environment.
