Learn how to build a website, create an app or a game, and explore technology in an informal, creative, and social environment. This course is for young people aged 4-7, 8-10 and 11-13.

Harrow Code Club – micro:bit Party Game & Scratch Broadcasting Spells
Details
Join us for another fun and creative Harrow Code Club session.
This week, children will explore coding through games, storytelling, and interactive projects.
🤖 Ages 8+ – micro:bit Party Game
Children will create a fun party game using the micro:bit. They will learn how to use coding logic, buttons, inputs, outputs, and randomness to build an interactive game they can play with others.
🎮 Ages 5–7 – Scratch Broadcasting Spells
Younger children will create a magical Scratch project using “broadcast” messages. They will learn how characters can send signals to each other, trigger actions, and create animations, sounds, and interactive scenes.
Children will develop:
- Coding confidence
- Creativity and imagination
- Problem-solving skills
- Logical thinking
- Teamwork and communication
New children are very welcome and will be supported to start from the beginning. No previous coding experience is needed.
Please remember:
- All attendees must have an adult with them
- Remember to bring your laptop with you
- You must book a place to attend
- Please don’t come if you are feeling unwell
