Description

Learn how to build a website, create an app or a game, and explore technology in an informal, creative, and social environment. This course is for young people aged 4-7, 8-10 and 11-13.

Harrow Code Club - Scratch 101 & Python 101
Here is a quick update on what the children will be working on in our upcoming Coding Club session.

🎨 Scratch (Younger Learners – KS1)
For our younger learners, we will be continuing with the “Find the Bug” project (Part 1), focusing on spotting and fixing problems in code and developing debugging skills. New learners will be introduced to Scratch 101, while returning learners will help guide them through the activities — building confidence and teamwork.

Please register at https://codeclub.org/ to log progress and view the projects.

If possible, please have Scratch installed on your computer, although we can also use the online version if that is easier:
https://www.scratchfoundation.org/tools

🐍 Python 101 (KS2 Learners)
Students learning Python will continue with Python 101, focusing on building strong coding foundations.

If possible, please install one of the following tools:
• VS Code
• PyCharm
• Jupyter Notebook

We will continue working on:
• Target Practice
• Rocket Launch

Students joining for the first time will begin with the Hello World project.

• All attendees must be accompanied by an adult
• Please bring a fully charged laptop
• You must book a place to attend
• Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell
